Every tower depends on a foundation suited to its loads and the ground beneath it. We design and assess shallow and piled foundations for overhead line towers, portals and related energy infrastructure, using the available ground investigation data and project requirements.
Our work considers compression, uplift and horizontal actions alongside groundwater, durability and construction constraints. We examine how the proposed foundation can be built, how it connects to the structure and which assumptions need to be resolved before design progresses.
Whether the task involves a new foundation or the assessment of an existing one, we provide clearly documented calculations and design recommendations. Where refurbishment affects tower stability, we also address the interface with temporary support and the planned sequence of works.
Typical deliverables Structural calculations, foundation dimensions and details, and defined interface requirements within the agreed scope.
