A new tower needs to meet its structural requirements while remaining practical to fabricate and erect. We develop structural concepts for lattice towers, portals and associated steelwork for overhead transmission line and substation connection projects.
Our work covers structural arrangements, member selection and connection design, coordinated with the project's conductor configuration, geometry and clearance requirements. We examine how loads pass through the structure and how design choices affect steel quantities, fabrication details, transport and assembly.
From an initial concept to detailed structural verification, we provide models, calculations and design information suited to the agreed scope. Close coordination with the wider project team helps resolve interfaces early and turn the structural concept into a clearly defined design for the next stage of delivery.
Typical deliverables Structural models, member and connection calculations, and structural design details within the agreed scope.
